“Looking for a good time, sir?” The Twi’lek, limbs and tails artfully painted, pressed the length of her body against Obi-Wan’s.

“Not tonight, my dear.” Obi-Wan touched gentle fingertips to her cheek and slipped out of the cantina into the cold night air, making for the sloping hills.

There were nights when temptation beckoned, when the touch of another warm body would have comforted his vast loneliness. He lay in his solitary bed, waiting for sleep to claim him. At times, he dreamed of Qui-Gon trailing kisses down his spine, on his mouth.

For now, it would have to do.

Since even LucasFilms in their Clone Wars cartoon made Qui-Gon appear, I hope very much that Qui-Gon didn't let Obi-Wan sitting alone in the desert all the time :>)

Oh no, there is a set of Star Wars cereal, you have to get them all and put them together for a sort of Poster Effect. But of course I only bought the one that had Qui-Gon {though I will probably go back and get the Darth Maul one too.

I think it was Cinnamon Toast Crunch that had Qui-Gon.

I love the gentleness in this, in the way Obi-Wan turns her down, and how that rolls into his loneliness, and how that, too, feels gentle and...and almost faded, as if it has been there so long the sharpness of it has died down so it's simply a constant state. Which, well, makes it all the more mournful, I suppose.
