splix | update

Hi all, this is Andrea/write_out posting for Splix.

Alex has asked me to post an apology on her behalf; she intended to respond to all of the lovely comments you have left for her, but she isn't able to now. I know each one has meant so much to her and she has felt the love you've all been sending her way.

I don't know if she'll write here again. Words are failing me at the moment- I'm not as eloquent as our dear Alex- but I'll do my best to keep everyone updated. Please continue to send all the love and light you can to her.

I think about her every day, and it's her joyous sense of color and fashion that carried so much of the work I did on my 80's novel and I wish I could share it with her when it finally gets published.

Alex, you're living rent free in my head these days and, lbr, always have. This weekend I bumbled into Withnail and I and hadn't seen it in years, made me lol and think of you. That made me want to go watch Shallow Grave. Maybe TPM next.

Looked for the Perseids this weekend and thought of Carl Sagan, and you. And all of us. I hope you have good music, or good audiobooks. Especially hoping for good drugs.
