Regarding the suggestion of betrayal in the dream - my thinking was that even in dreams he's not entirely able to escape his grim reality, so that it invades even his refuge. But I hadn't considered the thought of another betrayal, and that adds a facet, I think - thanks for that. Again, I appreciate your remarks.
