Just finally got to read this last night. Oh, so well done and poor Jamie, I just want to crawl into the page and pet him. Thank goodness Jim is there to do it instead. And I knew Philip would be loathesome, but I wasn't expecting that. Oh dear, I hate to think the trouble he is going to cause in the future. What a horrid, vile human being he is. I anticipate the next chapter with both curiosity and dread. At least the war is over, so I no longer have to fear either of the lovely lads being gassed!
