I'm thrilled you think the characterization is good - I think Sherlock is sort of a tough nut to crack, so it's awesome to hear you like it. And sure we love him, even if he is a snarky bastard. :D Heh, I kind of wanted to beat on the brats myself, so I feel you.
And you liked Violet? Eeee, thank you. I know it's a difficult sell sometimes, female characters that is [and I do so love Dana in your CP story, just so you know] and it's great to hear that she comes across as I'd hoped. She's tough and smart and yeah, emotionally reserved, but she does love her boys very much. Their father, less so.
