I really like that Sharpe likes books and appreciates the flowrs in Edmund's garden, that there's more to him then just Sharpe, the sodier.
I was exhausted, but I would not let him go. Not yet. “Perhaps…perhaps we can say a proper farewell.” I was so relieved to read that. So glad that they did have that proper and rather delicious farewell in Edmund's nice bedroom.
