Thank you so much, dearest! I love, love, love this pairing so much. It's a fun new challenge to write this Nikolai - you're right, there is a sweetness to him. Alec is more of a constant, in my mind, because of the pain and suffering of his childhood that caused him to harbor such bitterness for so long - it feels to me like that wouldn't change much, until he'd grown quite a bit older and maybe not even then.
