Note: I started posting this about midway through my chemotherapy treatments in order to be engaged with fandom again and as a kind of personal therapy, reminding myself that I wasn't completely useless even though I was really sick. I'm almost done with chemo and feeling a lot better, and am really, really grateful to everyone who took the time to read and leave a comment. It means more than I can possibly say.
