OMG. I just finished reading chapters 7 and 8 in one giant gulp, and I am an overwrought mess. This story is SO GOOD! When Martin was crying on Douglas' shoulder, I had to stomp off and get a tissue before I could continue. Yes, dammit, I was crying along with Martin. And finally, finally, Douglas is beginning to realize what he feels isn't just friendship. Bless his heart, I do hope Martin gets his happily ever after in this story. No-one deserves it more than our brave little bird.
