Poor Martin. He is dealing with this exactly as you would expect and Douglas is every one of those things he said about himself.
I hope that Douglas is going to visit him, but how he is going to find out what really happened to Martin, I am not sure. I am also not sure about Martin's ability to cope with what has happened. Given that it is Martin and he is terminally unlucky, it is difficult to be hopeful. :(
