A/B goof

I was sooo productive on my lunch hour. ;D

Since I'm going to be going on vacation soon, I had a little reverie about Aragorn and Boromir having some hang time at the beach. The results are below the cut, in the style of the mostly inimitable Corona ads.

Hee, I love the brolly!! We saw the extended edition pt1 in the cinema last week, and will see part2 tomorrow - I'd failed to remember quite how beautiful a film it is! And I love the slower pace of the extended, even though by the end of the evening a pee is definitely called for :) (Commodore Marie beside me was weeping through the 'My brother, my captain, my King' bit, as well she might.)

Thankee!

They're showing it here also, but it's just too damn late - I wouldn't get home until 11:30 and then I need about three hours of wind-down time, and on a Tuesday, ARGH I've got work on Wednesday. So not fair. :(

They really are just beautiful movies. Not only the setting, but I think the costumers and makeup artists made the whole cast look utterly exquisite.

Oh, indeed. *sigh*

I must remember to take an entire tissue box to the last one.

Very sad that you aren't seeing them in the cinema :( Our timing is about the same - I did make it to bed by about 12.30, so not much winding down, but I would have gone to see the second the next day if it had been on, I enjoyed it all so much. I'd seen the extendeds on dvd but never in the theatre. Gorgeous movies, indeed :)

And I loved the way he used the camera in the special effects - that shot from Gandalf on the spires of Orthanc diving all the way down to the orcs labouring in the mines below - even now I can't believe they weren't in a helicopter filming the whole thing in reality :)
