Spoilers for Sharpe's Fortress

*

The small trove of gems – pearls, emeralds, rubies – made a pretty clicking noise as they streamed through Hakeswill's spread fingers. “Right, Sharpie,” he breathed. “That’s one debt paid back, you bugger.” He stared down at Sharpe’s prone, naked body. Sharpe was out cold, helpless, would be for a while yet.

He let his gaze roam over the scarred back, the long thighs, the loosely curled hands tied at the small of his back, the sweet, round arse, and realized that there were all sorts of ways to pay a debt.

Grinning, Hakeswill unbuttoned his trousers and kicked Sharpe’s legs apart.

End.

Ohhh...I can´t even imagine this...So cruel, I would weep over the horrible scene...

I was feeling horribly mean and had to take it out on poor Richard. Sorry!

Well, one would understand Hakeswill's thoughts, of course, but........I'm SURE Richard was lying there ready to lash out with his deliciousy bony feet and graunch Hakeswill right in the goolies!
Poor Pete - he was SO very Hateful Hakeswill....

[identity profile] splix.livejournal.com 2011-04-08 07:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually, Sharpe was unconscious because Hakeswill bashed him twice in the head with the butt of a rifle. *pets him*

Poor Pete - he was SO very Hateful Hakeswill....

Yes, he was fantastic!

Brilliant, says so much in so few words. Hakeswill was an unrelenting evil presence for Sharpe when he was young pte in India.

Thank you! Hakeswill was definitely oppressive in every possible way.

That is both horrible and brilliant. Poor Sharpie, but Hakeswill is so well written here and it makes me shiver in anticipation. Also love the description of Sharpe's body. A great drabble, thank you for sharing!

Thank you so very much, dear! I was feeling a bit evil today and poor Richard got the brunt of my bad mood. Thank you for the great feedback!

This is so well done and so horrible. Certainly sends a creepy shiver down my spine. Hakeswill is such a wonderfully evil villain and you do write him so well.

Thank you so very much! I do adore writing a good villain, and Hakeswill is decidedly one of the best. :D

Eeep. Fantastic and creepy. Hakeswill is right on the money here, and so menacing. (Also, who could not love that description of Helpless!Richard? ^_~)

[identity profile] splix.livejournal.com 2011-04-09 07:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, bless you - I'm delighted you enjoyed it. And I love Helpless!Richard. :D Thanks so much!

loosely curled hands tied at the small of his back

Guh! :)

Heehee. Thank you! :D

Hakeswill is certainly not one to miss an opportunity like this one. To take his own pleasure and to cause Richard pain and disgust, all in one action, would seem like perfection to him.

And yes, Pete Postlethwaite played him brilliantly - to the extent that I almost can't bear to watch my DVDs of the episodes that include him.

Thanks for sharing this and reminding us of a brilliant actor.

I agree - it's an ideal setup for a malicious opportunist like Hakeswill.

Pete P. was brilliant indeed! I like to *like* him, so it's a bit difficult for me to watch him as well.

Thanks so much for commenting!
