Wonderful restraint, when reading I felt apprehensive that at any moment it could all go so very wrong. I loved the ending, both still alive but at such a great price their love like a handful of razor blades. That final line 'He shivers uncontrollably, but knows that it's only because his outer shell is cracked, unable to withstand the cold.' leaves you weeping for both of them.
