This is so very beautiful - brings back the movie so well. You just feel the angst, and yes, his sacrifice at the end of the movie. To have to return to this world, the role he must play. But,interesting, the suggestion of betrayal in his dream - is this his answer to the rape? Of course, it's another betrayal, right? But, I love the setting of the dream - it's light, golden, in direct contrast to the world in which he's forced to exist. You feel his intense longing for a clean world, where he can be himself and free to love as he wishes. Thank you again.
