Eee.

My book is now available at Amazon for 4.99 USD or comparable prices internationally. [ebook only - you can get a free Kindle app for any device]

You can also check me out at alexsorel.com. My nom de plume is in honor of my favorite literary hero. Sort of hero anyway. :D I am thinking of posting essay-type stuff there, the more thoughtful, meandery stuff I used to post here. We shall see. I have a couple of ideas brewing.

Whoo, this has been a long time in the making! It's been consuming most of my free time and thought as well, but it's finally done, yay. I feel like I can breathe again!

My next project is a Cabin Pressure fic for Sundayduck for Fandom Trumps Hate. We've been batting ideas around and I'm excited to start writing for her. I haven't written Cabin Pressure in a long time.

Whoohoo! I hope you like it!! And enjoy your break! Ours is next week. I'll be working, but it'll be nice and quiet and I'll get a lot of sorting and cleaning done and I'll be able to dress like a dirtbag. :)

I am super excited about it! And so impressed by you. I knew you'd been working on this but didn't realize how close to publishing you were.

I know--break isn't really vacation, is it? Not for the non-student contingent, and especially not for staff. But I love taking the weekend off, setting my own schedule, and NOT SEEING STUDENTS for a week. (Not that I don't love them--I just need a break right about now.) And now I have some fic to read.

Enjoy your peace and quiet!

You, dress like a dirt bag? Never! M

Aw, thank you! It's been a busy and stressful couple of months but it's done at last! I need to figure out how best to promote it since it's a self publish, but the hardest part is done, I figure. I hope. :)

Not for faculty! It's all about grading, isn't it? But yes, at least you're not totally besieged by students wondering why you haven't responded to the emails they sent twenty minutes ago, and you're not getting the students wondering how they can raise their grades two weeks before the end of the semester. -_____-

Thank you!

Ha - you've never seen photographic evidence. Be glad. ;)
